    The timeline for obtaining a veterinary license services in India can vary depending on several factors, including the individual's educational background, completion of practical training, and successful completion of required examinations. Typically, after completing a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & AH) degree, which takes around five years, aspiring veterinarians undergo a compulsory internship program lasting about six months to one year. Following this, individuals need to clear the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). Once all requirements are met, the process of registering with the State Veterinary Council can take a few weeks to a few months. Overall, the entire process may take around six to seven years from the start of undergraduate studies to obtaining a veterinary license in India.
